From now on, the Sucata Split is going to be as environmentally friendly as possible. We will be off-setting the charity's emissions, such as those produced in the creation of promotional materials, office costs, electricity, etc, whilst also providing funding to off-set all emissions produced by the cars within the tour. We are aware that carbon off-setting is not an ideal solution to the problem of climate change, however, we hope that by raising public awareness of this issue, we will be investing in a greener future. We are trying our best!!!

How is the Sucata Split off-setting its emissions?

We are off-setting the emissions produced by Sucata in two ways: The first is off-setting the emissions produced by the bangers taking part in the tour. The second is to off-set the emissions caused by the tour's organisation, from the printing of flyers to the electricity used in the Gemin-i.org office. We will then pay off-setting companies to account for the carbon dioxide we have produced.

Which companies does the Sucata Split fund?

Sucata off-sets its emissions with two companies: Carbon Footprint and Climate Care. We have chosen these two companies in order to help tackle the problem of climate change both in the present and for the future. We have carefully selected organisations who we firmly believe will help today's world - through conservation projects - and tomorrow's - through the research into and implication of, renewable and sustainable energy projects.
